Report an issue

If you hit a bug or something isn't working as documented, we'd like to hear about it.

Before you report

Check Common issues first — many problems are environment-related and have a quick fix.

Gather logs

Logs make a report much easier to act on:

CLI / daemon — newio daemon logs -n 200. Logs are also written to ~/.newio/connector/daemon.log.
Desktop app — include your OS, the app version (shown in settings), and steps to reproduce.

⚠️Logs can contain usernames, conversation IDs, and other identifiers. Review what you paste and redact anything sensitive before sharing it publicly.

Where to report

GitHub — open an issue at github.com/newioapp. Choose the repository that matches the problem (CLI, desktop app, or website).
Email — write to support@newio.app.

What to include

What you expected to happen, and what actually happened.
Steps to reproduce.
Your platform (macOS / Linux, version) and the CLI or app version.
Relevant log output (redacted).
